RI Wireless transmits a real-time position indication to the control room and enables predictive maintenance for actuated valves. Designed for new and existing plants in the process industries and utilities, the products are certified as Zone 1 intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas.
By introducing comprehensive plant monitoring, the system should enhance operational efficiencies and eliminate unnecessary shutdowns. Monitoring valve opening and closing profiles and detecting variations from reference profiles facilitates predictive maintenance.
The system consists of a small, battery-powered valve monitoring device (VMD) that is installed on existing or new valve actuators using a NAMUR interface, or on manual valves with an ISO 5211 interface. The VMD collects dynamics-of-state data from the actuator or valve and transmits it as a 64-point packet, providing the information required for preventative maintenance.
A network of valve device routers (VDR) transfers the monitoring data from the VMDs on a wireless mesh network to the tunneling VDR, which is the last hop- VDR that transfers the data to the RI Wireless gateway, an industrial computer that manages the RI Wireless system. Several tunneling VDRs can be connected to the RI Wireless gateway via TCP/IP networks.
The final element in the structure is the RI Wireless Management System, a software management tool that provides operational and maintenance data in common industrial standard connections to a human-machine interface, distributed control system (DCS), or programmable logic controller.

Solenoid valve integration
The ASCO Numatics 580 Characterization Module (CHARM) node facilitates solenoid valve integration into the company's DeltaV S-series DCS with electronic marshalling technology. The node enables full integration of the 500 series pneumatic valves and manifolds into the DeltaV DCS network.
It also uses the native capability of DeltaV to diagnose pneumatic valves and brings the CHARM redundant communications and power connections to pneumatic valve manifolds. The node eliminates the need for additional dedicated networks like Profibus DP for pilot valves and simplifies system I/O mapping. The node uses a single network connection from the DeltaV DCS through the CHARM baseplate and connects to the 580 CHARM node and manifold, eliminating the need to use individual DO CHARM to drive each valve coil on the pilot manifold.

Angle sensors
The company has two extensions of its inductive angle sensors for rotary actuators. The RI360-DSU angle sensors are suited for harsh environments: one has a stainless-steel minifast- connector and the other, using a terminal chamber, provides ATEX and IECEx approvals.
Using the inductive resonant circuit measuring principle and with an open-face sensor for rotary valve sensing, the sensors produce analog or discrete outputs and have flexible mounting options. The inductive angle sensors can monitor quarter-turn valves and three-way valves\, while also detecting the valve position during cleaning cycles. The sensors can also detect the wear of seals.
With a protection rating of IP67 and a rugged\, compact housing design, the RI360-DSU sensors provide wear-free sensing in harsh applications. The sensors work in temperatures ranging from -25° to +75°C (Exi version limited to +70°C), making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including valve automation, steering position feedback, and dancer arm control.

Universal interface module
The CTEU-EP universal interface module lowers the cost of EtherNet/IP connectivity and makes it plug and play for a range of the company's valve terminals. The CTEU-EP is ODVA conformant and a Rockwell Encompass-referenced product. Original equipment manufacturers can configure up to 96 valves on multiple valve terminals with a single EtherNet/IP node.
Basic diagnostics reduce downtime through faster identification of such fault conditions as undervoltage and short circuits. The CTEU-EP connects to all I-Port-enabled valve terminals, including VTUG, VTUB, MPA-L, VTOC, and CPV.
In harsh environment applications, it can interface EtherNet/IP to the MPA-C IP69K-rated valve terminal. CTEU-EP is also compatible with other I-Port-enabled products, such as the CTSL input module, SDAT cylinder position transmitter, OVEM vacuum generator, VPPM pressure regulator, CMMO-LK stepper motor controller, and a number of pressure sensors. I-Port relies on standard single-pin M12 male and female connectors.
The CTEU family of universal interface modules is compatible with other leading fieldbuses, including DeviceNet, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, Profibus DP, Profinet, CANopen, and CC-Link. In addition, CTEU modules can be connected via CANopen to CPX-CEC front end control.

More than that, he deduced, the man had vanished and yet, after he was gone, there had come that unexpected descent of the rolling door which had first made them think themselves trapped. Sandy argued, and with good common sense, that a ghost, in broad sunny daylight, was a silly way to account for the man. He also felt that it was equally unjust to credit the drop of the door to gravity. Friction drums are not designed to allow the ropes on them to slip, especially if there is no jolt or jar to shake them. Walpole, however, continued to oppose the South Sea Bill in the Commons, declaring that the terms were too extravagant ever to be fulfilled; that the experiment could result in nothing but a fearful increase of the costs of stockjobbing, and final confusion and ruin. He insisted that, before the proposals of the Company were accepted,[47] the rise of their stock should be limited, and every means taken to prevent the fever of infatuation that would ensue from the promise of dividends out of funds which could never be realised. He proposed for this purpose the introduction of a clause fixing the number of years' purchase to be granted to the annuitants of the South Sea Company; but to this it was objected that it was the interest of the Company to take up the annuities; and, as the annuitants had the power of coming in or not, as they pleased, the Company would, of course, offer advantageous terms, and, therefore, the whole affair might be safely left to private adjustment. Aislabie added that the South Sea Company would not submit to be controlled in an undertaking they were to pay so dear for. The Bill passed both Houses. As the woollen manufactures of Ireland had received a check from the selfishness of the English manufacturers, it was sought to compensate the Protestants of Ulster by encouraging the linen manufacture there, which the English did not value so much as their woollen. A Board was established in Dublin in 1711, and one also in Scotland in 1727, for the purpose of superintending the trade, and bounties and premiums on exportation were offered. In these favourable circumstances the trade rapidly grew, both in Ireland and Scotland. In 1750 seven and a half million yards of linen were annually woven in Scotland alone. "Pardon me, Lieutenant¡ªI should perhaps say Captain"¡ªinterrupted Lieut. Bowersox, with much sweetness of manner, "but the most of us are familiar with your views as to the inferiority of the discipline of the Western Armies to that of the Army of the Potomac and European armies, so that we need not take up the' time of the court with its reiteration. What farther happened?" "Sure," Dodd said. "But I mean people. And you want the same things we do. You want a little comfort out of life, a little security¡ªsome food, say, and enough food for tomorrow. Right?" "Why, two shillings is too much fur farm-folks lik us to give fur a pound of chocolate. It's naun but a treat, and we can do wudout it." At last they came to Castweasel¡ªthree old cottages and a ruined one, leaning together in a hollow like mushrooms. Beside the ruined cottage a tree-trunk was lying, and Rose suddenly stretched herself with a little sigh. "I'm sorry," he said sheepishly. Rate, skate, and crabs. Farewell, farewell, you jolly young girls! HoMEɧµÄ»¤Ê¿ÃÃÃÃ
